The Second Step in Your Palm Tree Order.
Method 1: Semi-Truck
The method of transportation used throughout the order will be dependant on the size of the tree and will alter the cost of the final order. Desert Empire Palms utilizes two methods. The first method, which is the most common and applicable option is to transport the palm trees by using a Flat-Bed. This is similar to a traditional semi-truck, but the truck does not have the cage surrounding the posterior end. The Flat-Bed is used to transport a varying number of palm trees depending on their size. The typical Flat-Bed can handle anywhere from seven to ten trees per load.
Method 2: Local/In-House
The second method is our Local/In-House option. This option can be used to transport four Mexican Robusta fan palms, two California Filifera fan palms, and a single date palm per load. Any trees that utilize this option must be less than seven feet tall. This option is the cheapest option available, and is only offered to orders placed in the cities of Palm Springs, Cathederal City, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Bermuda Dunes, Indio, and Coachella.
Method 3: Do It Yourself
Delivery is not required on any of your orders. However, you will likely need to use a third party to relocate the palm trees from the field to your project or home. For most of our orders we deliver the palm trees to the buyers location, but some customers prefer to arrange their own transportation. If this is the case, we will load the trees onto the flat-bed using our heavy machinery. Home owners benefit from letting us arrange delivery, because it simplifies the process.
